Community supported Agriculture (CSA)
There are many benefits to being a CSA member. One is that you will be able to know exactly how and where your food is grown. Your food will be picked at peak harvesting time and in your home within 48 hours (except for certain storage crops). Our CSA runs for 20 weeks, beginning the first week of June and ending in mid-October. Our CSA costs about $27 a week for 6-9 items, but we strive to give you 15-20% more in value than the purchase price of the CSA.
We offer over 40 kinds of vegetables, fruits, flowers, and herbs throughout the season. We are transparent in all of our farming practices. While we are not USDA Organic certified (yet), we manage our farm in a way that exceeds those standards as much as possible.
Solidarity CSA Share Fund
Our Solidarity CSA Share Fund provides discounted farm shares to our low income neighbors from funds raised by our community of CSA members.
Solidarity CSA Share members receive 20 weeks of weekly farm share pick ups from June to Mid-October.
Solidarity CSA shares will be discounted to $120 - payable in 4 payments in May, June, July, & August. To see if you qualify check out the USDA WIC guidelines and email us to let us know your interest.

What are the risks with a CSA membership?
There are risks in any sort of investment but choosing a CSA with an experienced Farmer is a relatively low risk investment. At Farmer Tim's we minimize risks to members by over planting popular crops, growing a great diversity of vegetables and choosing mutliple varieties of each crop to ensure that despite the weather and pest conditions, there will be plenty of produce. Even with these protections, there can be instances where the conditions wipe out an entire crop, but usually severe conditions for one crop can be the perfect conditions for another, so even if the onions are sparse, the peppers might be producing like crazy! At Farmer Tim's we montior crops for pest and disease pressure and use organic methods to intervene when necessary. We are also lucky have adequate irrigation in case of drought conditions. Although we cannot always guarantee a bounty of tomatoes each year, you can rest assured that we will work our hardest to get you your favorite crops each season!
Fall CSA
The Fall Share runs for 8 weeks from late October until the first week of December - pick up will be every other week- for a total of four bulk pick-ups. The share will include winter squash, onions, potatoes, carrots, turnips, radish, leafy greens, beets, popcorn, broccoli, cabbage, brussel sprouts, and more. Fall CSA Shares may be limited, so be sure to sign up in our online store once they are available. You will also find information on pick-ups and pricing in our online store.

A La Carte Vegetables
We plan carefully and work hard to produce beautiful and delicious produce for our community. Our sustainable practices take care of the land and produce nutritious food for you and your family year after year. Check out our online store to see what we currently have available!

Pasture-Raised Pork
Our pigs are raised happy and healthy – unconfined, with plenty of room to roam and access to sun and fresh air. Our pork comes from happy pigs in a natural habitat where they can forage. This directly impacts the quality (both flavor and nutrition) of the pork they produce.

Pasture-Raised Chicken
We raise our chickens according to the strictest production standards. They’re treated humanely (dare we say pampered?) with open space and plenty of bugs and grass for foraging. You can taste the difference in quality!

Seedlings
All our seedlings are grown in organic potting soil at our greenhouse in Dudley. We select organic seeds whenever available and choose varieties based on their superior flavor, suitability for our New England climate, and hardiness. Most of the varieties are the same we use in our fields, while others are selected for their adaptability for container and home gardens.
