Owner, Tim Carroll
​After working in the business world for many years, owner Tim Carroll decided to venture into the farming scene and follow his passion. He searched for a few years for the right opportunity, and in 2014, he purchased the 92-acre property in central Massachusetts where Farmer Tim's Vegetables resides. The first year was riddled with setbacks such as spring snowfall, tractor implements not arriving in time for spring planting, and weeds overtaking the crops. Despite the rough start, a strong and growing customer base was forged that first season. Now ​Farmer Tim's has about 8 acres in mixed vegetable production and, each year continues to increase CSA membership and farm stand sales. Jake Cardoza, Farm Manager
Jake's journey in agriculture began upon graduation from college in 2014. Born in Rhode Island, Jake is fortunate to have been exposed to multiple farming methods. Jake has helped manage educational farms in both Panama & Hawai'i, managed the production at a commercial hydroponic farm, and finished a 2-year apprenticeship at Brookfield Farm in Western Massachusetts. He joined Farmer Tim's in 2021 and oversees crop production and all daily farm operations. Jake loves being outdoors, and when he's not working, you can find him at the beach, hiking along the Appalachian Trail, or fishing.
